ROSS SUMMER
Sports Camp
AGES 4–16 | JUNE 24–AUGUST 16
Offering a variety of sports, including basketball, tennis, soccer, and more. Athletes train and compete on Ross School’s lush East Hampton campus, utilizing our state-of-the-art facilities.
Sports Programs are held on the Ross Upper School Campus at 18 Goodfriend Drive, East Hampton, NY 11937
Tennis
Ages: 6–16
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 am–3 pm
From specialized U10 programs with orange and green dot balls designed for developing competitive tennis players to our high-performance training with live ball drills and match play series, this 8-week all-encompassing summer program is our most intense and complete junior tennis education offered.
Players considering this program should be serious about their commitment to tennis, consistently practicing at least two days per week year-round. All training in each age and development level includes daily fitness and match play components.
Players can sign up for this program weekly, but space is limited. Tryouts are required (videos accepted).

TYPICAL DAY
9 am: Daily expectations and skill of the day (SOD) with RSTA Director Vinicius Carmo
9:30 am: Drills, Technical Development, & Conditioning
Close environment drills/technical development addressing SOD
Open environment drills (rally, live ball, point play situations)
Mental toughness training
Tennis conditioning
12 pm: Refuel with a nutritious lunch from Ross Café
12:45 pm: Point situation and match-play
3 pm: Dismissal

OPTIMIZE
Our training methodology focuses on shooting, rebounding, passing, ball handling, one-on-one moves, and defensive skills. While building on the essentials, players learn the value of one-to-one defense, team defense, court awareness, post moves, transition game, footwork, hustle, and sportsmanship.

Soccer
Ages: 6–12
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 am–3 pm
Working in collaboration with Colonial Sports Group, Ross is committed to taking young soccer players to the next level. Through small-sided activities, drills, and full scrimmages, expert instructors work with athletes to help improve their individual skills and teamwork. Training will enhance receiving, passing, dribbling, shooting, and formations, offensive and defensive strategies.

9:50 am: Skill development: Focus on dribbling, shooting, passing, and receiving skills

Multisport
Ages: 4–12
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 am–3 pm
Campers will be grouped by age
Ross Summer’s Multisport Program is designed for athletes ages 4–12 who are looking to get a great foundation in individual and team sports, including Tennis, Soccer, and an assortment of field games. Players will be grouped by age.
There will also be a large outdoor tent for daily stretching and yoga component. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages while focusing on the fun of movement, teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development.
