Ross School counts nearly 1000 graduates from 28 different countries among its alumni.
Lilah Yektai ’21 is making her mark in the art world with a number of recent exhibitions and accolades. Currently a senior at RISD, she has been selected for the prestigious senior art show opening April 10 at the school's Woods-Gerry Gallery.
Alex Strada ’06 is making an impact as a socially engaged artist and educator. She currently serves as the Public Artist in Residence with NYC’s Department of Homeless Services and Department of Cultural Affairs, and is a Fellow in Civic Engagement at Pratt University.
Musician R.O. Shapiro (Raphael Odell Shapiro) ’08 made a much-anticipated return to the East End, performing at Amagansett’s Stephen Talkhouse on February 7. A Sag Harbor native, Shapiro was well known for his theatrical and musical talents during his years at Ross. After studying at Yale and honing his craft across the country, he established himself as a standout in the Americana and folk music scene.
Daria Schieferstein ’11 is an accomplished attorney at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, LLP in New York. Daria recently took time out from her busy schedule to reflect on her journey from the halls of Ross School to the courtrooms of Manhattan.
The photographic work of Jeremy Dennis '08 was recently covered in an article in "The New Yorker." Jeremy is a member of the Shinnecock tribe and a fine art photographer known for his work examining cultural assimilation, indigenous identity, and ancestral traditions.
Daniel Bennett '04 and his brother Evan Bennett '07 have become successful restaurateurs with three popular restaurants under their belts: MIMI, BABS, both in Manhattan, and DOUBLES in Amagansett Square. Recently they acquired The Springs General Store as well.
